The machine is offered in two sizes, 1,000mm x 2,800mm and 2,000mm x 2,800mm and Haver & Boecker says the new model represents a complete overhaul of the original M-Class screener.

The Niagara M-Class screener is able to classify material into 11 different product sizes and can do this with only one point of transfer for each size.

"The new model ensures even more exact screening results while providing a number of additional benefits when it comes to performance and maintenance," Haver & Boecker Australia head of mineral processing technology Steffen Silge says.

The M-Class has a feed capacity of up to 50 tonnes per hour thanks to the 50kW/h onboard power. The multiple-deck machine’s modular design means altering the setup for various tasks is easy, as the individual screening decks can be swapped out. The decks have a large screening surface, and a full set provides up to 58 square metres of screening room. The machine’s frequency and amplitude can also be adjusted depending on the task at hand.

Haver & Boecker says maintenance on the M-Class has been greatly simplified over its predecessor. The need for side tensioning has been virtually eliminated as there is no second set of screens. Replacing the single screen cloth can now be done more rapidly.

Environmental concerns were also taken into account in the M-Class design with the machine’s weight balanced to minimise vibration into the structure, which lowers sound levels. The M-Class also has dust-proof casing to keep things clean.
