The G9260 was the centrepiece of SDLG’s Bauma display among its excavators, wheel loaders, rollers and backhoes.

The big grader is designed for use in mines and on larger infrastructure projects and can handle a variety of tasks including grading, ditching, bulldozing and slope scraping.

The G9620 is powered by a 95.5kW SD13 diesel engine configured to Tier 3 emissions standards. SDLG says the machine features optimised weight distribution and is capable of 136kN of tractive force, with forward and reverse speeds of 44.2km/h and 31.8km/h respectively.

The electronically-controlled diesel engine matches revs to the power-shift transmission to increase fuel efficiency and deliver optimum performance. The grader also features a hydraulically-controlled wet brake system.

SDLG says the G9260’s launch at Bauma shows the company’s desire to be seen as a truly international company, as well as being dominant domestically.

“Bauma China provided us with a great opportunity to showcase our capabilities as an international company to our customers, dealers and the media,” SDLG chairman Wang Zhizhong says.

“The launch of the G9260 demonstrates our commitment to developing the best motor grader in the nation . . . Demand for motor graders in Southeast Asia is [also] surging and we are confident that the G9260 will increase our competitiveness in the road building market.” Wang says.
