GearWrench launches locking flex head three piece ratchet set

GearWrench has released the locking flex head three piece ratchet set. The versatile tools can be used with an unlocked head for flexibility or with the head locked in to one of nine positions for stability.

The set contains ratchets in ¼, ⅜ and ½ inch drives and is designed for use on jobs where accessibility is limited.

The locking head feature provides the user with the option of using the ratchet in either nine fixed angle positions, or almost unlimited flexible head position while unlocked.

This provides versatility as the ratcheting function can be used for traditional straight fastening or use on angles where space is limited. Users switch between the two modes via a flush-mounted on/off switch on the handle.

The ratchets contain 84 ratchet teeth each and the ratcheting arc has been minimised so the next gear tooth engages sooner, increasing overall efficiency by requiring less wrench handle movement. The ratchets’ low profile teardrop-shaped design also increases accessibility in hard to reach areas.

The ratchet heads are sealed to ensure smooth transitions of the internal gears, protecting the tool from gear slip and tooth erosion over time.

The tools also have a polished chrome vanadium exterior, giving the ratchets a smooth feel.

The GearWrench locking flex handle set is also covered by a lifetime warranty.
