The British company says the TM320 combines the central driving position and all-round visibility of a wheeled loading shovel with the reach and lift of a telehandler.

The TM320 is powered by a 93kW 4.4-litre JCB EcoMAX engine that meets Tier 4 Final emissions standards through the use of a selective catalytic reduction system, rather than a diesel particulate filter.

"This is a proven solution that we introduced on our Loadall telescopic handlers for Europe earlier this year," JCB chief innovation and growth officer Tim Burnhope says.

"It’s a very compact installation that makes efficient use of AdBlue, without detracting from the engine’s excellent power, torque and fuel consumption characteristics."

The telescopic loader has a maximum lift capacity of 3,200kg, which is available to a full lift height of 5.2m from ground level. It can also manage 1,750kg of lift capacity when the loader is at full forward reach of 2.95m.

The machine’s load-sensing hydraulic system automates hydraulic flow to ensure maximum efficiency. The TM320 has a four-speed JCB Powershift transmission that can be operated in automatic or manual modes, and can deliver a maximum travel speed of 40km/h.

An optional hydraulic reversible cooling fan is available that gives operators a choice of reversing intervals to suit different situations, as well as a manual activation option for purging dust and debris.

Inside the TM320 cab is a full colour instrument display providing machine information and warnings. Daily checks of engine oil, coolant and washer fluid levels can be completed from the operator’s seat during start-up, which saves time and also ensures these checks become routine.

The JCB TM320S Agri-spec telehandler is currently available in Australia, but it is unknown when the model above will make the trip Down Under.
