MB Crusher has launched the fourth edition of its MB-S14 screening bucket, which it says has been redesigned and reinforced to extend its operating life.
The company points out that being able to sort inert material that gathers on site quickly and efficiently is a big part of being competitive for today’s construction and demolition contractors.
Recycling material for use in another area can save a lot in material costs, and selling excess materials can be another vital revenue stream.
The MB-S14 screening bucket is designed for use on excavators between 9 and 20 tonnes and is particularly suited to small or medium size sites.
The MB-S14 has compact dimensions of 1700 x 1400 x 1440mm, weighs in at just over 1 tonne and can take 1.1 cubic metres of heaped material. The bucket’s screening basket is made from a series of interchangeable modular panels, which are available in a range of different sizes to suit different requirements.
The MB-S14 has an improved strength equilibrium between the digger arm and the bucket to increase productivity, MB says. The bucket has also been constructed using robotic manufacturing techniques which the company says means precision welds and improved reliability.
MB says the latest update to the MB-S14 includes redesigned clamps for locking the panels in place and a totally new transmission that it says is more durable and reliable. The bucket also has a new central greasing system that reduces maintenance times.
There are a number of optional extras available for the MB-S14 including a pulveriser kit that can demolish processed dust to allow screening in closed environments; and an iron separation kit which, as the name suggests, screens and immediately separates iron from other demolition debris.
