Redstar has added the Atlas Copco HiLight range of LED lighting towers to its lineup, including the HiLight B5+, H5+ and V5+ models.

Redstar says the HiLight range offers a wide range to suit a wide range of applications, and has been designed for safety, durability and energy efficiency.

“Atlas Copco’s HiLight lighting tower range offers flexible light options, robust build quality and a compact size for easy transportation,” Redstar Equipment general manager Richard Crowe says.

The HiLight towers can illuminate an area up to 5000 square metres with a 20-lux brightness average, making them suitable for residential or road construction, oil and gas mining and music or sporting events.

The HiLight B5+ is a compact unit designed to be easily transferrable between jobs.

“Transport efficiency is possible with the B5+ with 22 units able to fit on a 13m truck,” Crowe says.

The H5+ is touted as the most fuel efficient of the three new models, keeping operating costs down.

“The H5+ offers best in-class fuel consumption, allowing longer run times between refuelling as well as long service intervals,” Crowe says. “Fuel consumption is only 0.5 litres per hour.”

The V5+ model is the most rugged of the three, and is encased in a HardHat heavy-duty canopy as standard. The LED lamps in the V5+ have a life expectancy of around 30,000 hours.

“The V5+ is perfect for rental companies that are looking for robust and easy to transport lighting towers to match any site requirements,” Crowe adds. “It is a very fuel efficient machine using only 0.7 litres of fuel per hour.”
