Dynapac’s line of road construction equipment, including asphalt rollers, pavers and milling equipment, will now be sold with a new colour scheme consisting of red, white and grey.

“Red has always been a significant colour for us,” Dynapac global marketing vice president Herman Matthyssen says. “And when investigating the brand values, the red colour was among the top recognition factors.

“The new colours also underline the uniqueness of the Dynapac brand, now part of the Fayat Group.

“The new colours support the future image and spirit of the Dynapac brand, underlining also the innovative character of its products, and the modern design lines.

“We are very proud of our new visual identity, it signals we are an independent brand with our own sales-channels, own technology and own product portfolio,” Matthyssen adds.

The move to the new colours comes after Dynapac’s recent acquisition by the Fayat Group from previous parent company Atlas Copco. Dynapac products have been sold in Australia through distributor Construction Equipment Australia (CEA), and this relationship will continue into the future.

“CEA’s vision is about providing the growing Australian market with industry-leading, high quality products and excellent after sales support,” CEA general manager of Dynapac and operations Steven Stavrou says.

The first product to be available in the new colours is the new CC1100-1200 compact asphalt tandem roller, which is expected to reach Australia in early 2018.

Dynapac says the CC1100-1200 has a unique design featuring a cross-mounted engine and large, casted forks with flexible lifting/towing/tie-down abilities.

The double-drum roller uses a 26kW water-cooled Kubota diesel and has an operating weight of just under 2.5-tonnes. The roller has compact dimensions to ensure it fits on even the most cramped construction sites, measuring 2,395mm long and 1,715mm wide.
