The SDLG L959F was unveiled at the recent 2017 Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition. The L959F is SDLG’s latest Tier 4 Final/Stage IV wheel loader and the company says it reflects its commitment to environmental sustainability.

“Sustainability has become one of the main focuses in the construction machinery industry over the past decade,” SDLG board chairman Wang Zhizhong says.

“SDLG is being proactive in our efforts to help customers transition smoothly to more eco-friendly equipment.

“The L959F meets the strict emissions standards in Europe, for example, and it will also raise the bar for other regions. SDLG is committed to being a leader in the production environmentally sensitive construction equipment,” Wang adds.

As mentioned, the L959F has a Tier 4 Final 162kW Deutz engine. The L959F’s hydraulics are managed by single-lever pilot controls and deliver a maximum breakout force of 50kN. The big loader weighs in at just over 17.5 tonnes and has a rated load capacity of 5 tonnes.

Power is controlled via a ZF fixed-shaft electro-hydraulic transmission and the L959F also has full hydraulic braking.

SDLG says the operators’ cab on the L959F is 15 percent larger than on previous models, with an adjustable suspension seat and all-round visibility. The loader also has a ‘smart parking’ system that automatically activates the machine’s braking system when the engine stalls for safer operation.

Noise levels are also kept to a minimum on the L959F thanks to SDLG’s three-stage absorption system that involves the cab, transmission and engine working together to contain vibrations.
