Norm Engineering: One tough bucket

Based in Brisbane and Melbourne, Norm Engineering is a family owned business manufacturing earthmoving attachments for skid steers, track loaders, excavators, telehandlers and backhoes.

Backed by over 30 years’ experience it is not surprising that the Norm 4-in-1 Bucket remains Australia’s first choice in the earthmoving bucket range.  As an Australian manufacturer, Norm Engineering has the advantage that it understands the tough Australian environment and it has built its buckets to withstand the harsh conditions.

An extra heavy-duty flat floor is used to give additional strength to the buckets, which range in size from 915mm to 2,400mm.  Norm Engineering 4-in-1 Buckets have proven both their strength and durability across the nation.

The 4-in-1 bucket has optional extras to suit individual needs. These extras include teeth and 3 x replaceable bolt-on edges to extend the life of the attachment.  This versatile attachment is controlled from the cab. With ease:

  • the bucket can be opened to scoop and carry sand, gravel, small rocks and debris before being carried and deposited elsewhere
  • the serrated edges allow a strong grip when clamping logs, small rocks and debris, and
  • the middle bolt on edge allows back blading; the gravel then accumulates in the bucket ready to be placed in another area.

This attachment is ideally suited for clearing, levelling, scooping, carrying dirt and debris, therefore making this the perfect attachment for sidewalks, roads, car parks, agricultural, construction and industrial areas.

Norm Engineering has thought of everything, including the tie-down holes on either side of the 4-in-1 buckets, ensuring you can transport this attachment safely.

Taking care of every fine detail, Norm Engineering can customise your load guard with your company name, etc.  Just another one of those personal touches that make Norm Engineering attachments stand out from the crowd!

As a local manufacturer, Norm Engineering provides an efficient spare parts service, with the ability to despatch most spare parts overnight, minimising any downtime for your business.

With a high demand for quality earthmoving equipment, Norm Engineering’s Research and Development team continue to design innovative attachments to add to the existing range of products.  The Norm Engineering range includes buckets, road brooms, dozer blades, stick rakes, grass slashers, rippers, grabs, tilting couplers, tilting quick hitches, swing hoes, pallet forks, spreader bars, ramps, etc.

Norm Engineering has recently become the Australian distributor for Rototilt, offering its outstanding range of Tiltrotators to suit 3 to 40-tonne machines.  Tiltrotators, though commonplace in European markets, are only just beginning to gain traction in Australia. The Australian earthmoving industry will be extremely impressed with the increased gains in versatility and efficiency when using a tiltrotator.  The impressive control system allows the operator full control of the tilting and 360° rotation feature, saving time and vastly improving accuracy.

Adam and John from Norm Engineering attended a week-long intensive training program in Sweden at the Rototilt manufacturing plant to ensure Norm Engineering has all the required knowledge and skills to service, install and support the Rototilt products.

Rototilt and Norm Engineering share a similar background and passion for quality earthmoving products. Norm Engineering is proud to offer Australia another complete range of attachments.
