Designed and manufactured in Canada, Morrcon Construction Equipment Torrent mulchers are for those serious about clearing land fast.
Torrent mulchers are super-fast cutters of timber and grass. The Torrent mulcher is tolerant of some impact with rock in operation so suits all forestry mulching application. With a Torrent mulcher, mulching on the side of roadworks is easy as the mulcher does not throw the material very far in operation, therefore the Torrent mulcher does not require a set of hydraulics to operate the door.
The cutters within the Torrent frame are not tungsten carbide so they will remain sharp while wearing. This feature ensures that the Torrent mulcher will cut easily with less horsepower required when compared to other mulchers on the market. They are well balanced and are vibration free so they do not suffer cracking of the frame.
The front cutter blades can be turned four times before required to be replaced which increased the longevity of your investment in a Torrent mulcher. Some of our customers have achieved well over 1,000 hours use per set of cutters, which lowers the hourly rate of the machine cost considerably when compared with other mulchers on the market.
Torrent mulchers are super light for the unit size and well within all machine capability i.e. 30″ mulcher to suit 5T excavator is only 340kg. All heads are matched hydraulically to excavator capability to ensure maximum operation capability to ensure maximum operational stability.
