Rammer hydraulic rockbreakers now have an extended factory warranty
Rammer has announced that all Rammer rockbreakers now come with a two-year standard factory warranty, while its compact range now has a three-year warranty.
The new warranty extension applies to all new Rammer rockbreakers including those registered in 2024. All other warranty terms remain unchanged.
Rammer rockbreakers are used in mining and quarrying applications across Australia, with the attachment manufacturer saying the extended warranty further enhances customer confidence.
“Our large rockbreaker range combines advanced hydraulics, unique operating principles, quality materials and an excellent power-to-weight ratio, making them the powerful and reliable choice for miners,” Rammer product line lifecycle manager for rockbreakers Esa Sjönberg says.
Rammer rockbreakers are manufactured with features such as a wear-resistant lower boot and heavy-duty housing enhance durability, while the membrane-type accumulator eliminates gas leakage, reducing the need for on-site recharging.
One of the primary causes of premature rockbreaker failure is blank firing, which occurs when the piston strikes without engaging the tool. This means that the energy that’s normally transferred goes back inside the rockbreaker, causing internal wear and component failure over time.

Rammer’s anti-blank firing technology prevents operation unless the piston engages the tool. The Idle Blow Protection (IBP) feature, which is easily adjustable on-site, ensures the rockbreaker operates only when pressure is applied to the tool. This innovation helps to protect the tool from failures and tie rod stress, reduce oil overheating, minimise premature failures and significantly extend tool life.
