RDO Equipment’s name will be seen across more Australian sites after the company announced dealership group Vermeer Australia will now share its brand
The move also affects the agricultural sector, with Queensland-based John Deere ag dealer Vanderfield being rebranded under the RDO Equipment name.
RDO has been John Deere’s construction and forestry dealer for all Australian states excluding Western Australia since 2019 and is also the Vermeer equipment dealer.
With the change, RDO Equipment will now have 29 branches and more than 800 staff working under its name.

New RDO Equipment CEO Phil Canning says Vermeer Australia and Vanderfield customers can expect the same level of service despite the rebrand.
“We have a tremendously dedicated team, many with decades of experience, who have a deep understanding of our customers and the machines that are critical to their operations,” he says.
“While we are changing the brand, our customers will continue to be looked after by the sales and service teams they already know and trust, and they can expect the same level of expert support and advice that they have always received from our united team.”
