BULK2024 will see the BULK Expo return to Melbourne in September, showcasing the latest technologies available in the area of bulk solids transport and handling
From mining and quarrying to grain storage, cement manufacturing and port logistics, bulk solids handling covers a wide variety of industries. Technologies on display at BULK2024 include conveyors, silos, monitoring solutions and lifting equipment to name just a few.
Expressions of interest from companies looking to exhibit on the floor are now open. Industry leaders including AGI, GE Silos and HE Silos Forbes have already joined the show.
BULK2024 show director, Lauren Chartres, says the event is the only dedicated Australian expo for producers and handlers of bulk commodities such as grain and building materials.
“The bulk handling industry is a vital part of Australia’s economy, with a wealth of knowledge and expertise to share,” she says.
“To have all these exhibitors under one roof is not only a great place for business opportunities, but a fantastic occasion to network within this essential industry.”
The expo will be held in conjunction with one of Australia’s biggest transport, logistics and supply chain events, MEGATRANS2024. The two events will be hosted over 30,000 square metres at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, with one ticket entry for access to both exhibitions.
Accompanying these events is the Australian Bulk Handling Awards, which is the only Awards program specifically for the bulk solids handling industry. The Awards are an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding achievements and successes of companies and individuals that have demonstrated innovative practices and superior performances across the year.
In 2024, the Australian Bulk Handling Awards will be held alongside the Mercury Awards, which recognise excellence in the logistics sector.
BULK2024 and MEGATRANS2024 will take place at the Melbourne Expo and Convention Centre on 18–19 September 2024.
