Trailer manufacturer FWR has been built on determination, innovation and a cost-effective transport solution
Over the past decade, FWR has erupted from a small Brisbane operation into one of Australia’s fastest-growing trailer manufacturers.
FWR director Arron MacCue says that quality, adaptability and customer commitment define FWR.
“Every trailer is built around our customer, customised to suit their industry, their task and the unique demands of their work,” MacCue says.
Today, FWR operates from two dedicated facilities in Queensland, each purpose-designed to optimise high production volumes, custom builds and the rapid delivery times, the industry now expects.
The original Larapinta headquarters remains the heart of heavy haulage manufacturing, producing everything from AZMEB side tippers and low loaders to drop deck wideners and FWR’s flagship super tilt ranges.
“Due to surging demand, FWR expanded into a second facility at Wacol – a site dedicated to our smaller product lines such as tag trailers, dog trailers and beavertail trays, allowing for high-volume builds to provide customers with short lead times and a reliable Australian made trailer,” MacCue says.
“Together, the two sites provide the capacity, specialisation and manufacturing ability required to meet Australia’s rapidly expanding transport, construction and civil markets.”

Trusted by industry
What started as a one-man vision has become a trusted national brand. FWR now partners with some of Australia’s largest top tier transport, civil, energy and logistics operators –companies that depend on reliability, service and equipment that performs day in and day out.
This same trust extends into the public sector, with more than 50 local councils across Australia now running FWR trailers in their fleets. For many of these councils, FWR has become the preferred supplier for tag trailers, plant trailers and custom-built solutions.

A welcomed alternative
While production volume has grown, FWR’s DNA remains unchanged: every trailer must be built right.
“Whether it’s a single axle tag trailer or a fully spec’d super tilt, each build is treated with the same attention to detail, shaped by customer feedback, engineering refinement and continuous product development,” MacCue says.
“For our customers, the outcome is simple: trailers that handle bigger challenges and have smarter features, that make every job quicker and easier while respecting their budget.”
Looking ahead, FWR expects strong growth across all product lines, with the Super Tilt range leading the way. Demand continues to rise month on month, with the Super Tilt fast becoming a cornerstone for machinery transporters, heavy haulage fleets and operators who want a truly versatile, one-trailer-does-it-all solution.
“I’m focused on building the best Super Tilt on the market at a price that’s well and truly below what operators have been forced to pay for years,” MacCue says.
“Many features the industry calls ‘custom’ are standard inclusions or easy options in the FWR line-up. In a market where prices only ever seem to go up, I’m excited to offer a genuinely cost-effective alternative using the same if not better components.”
With ongoing investment in engineering, production capability and dealer partnerships across Australia, he says FWR is positioned and excited to continue growth, development and working closely with operators and their needs for many years to come.

Relied upon nationally
From two thriving sites to a loyal customer base and a growing national footprint, FWR’s trajectory is clear: bigger, better and always improving.
With owner operators, top tier companies, councils and transport fleets all depending on FWR equipment, the company’s commitment remains unchanged – Australian manufacturing, cost-effective transport solutions and building lasting relationships with our customers.
