Formerly the Queensland Safety Show, Safety in Action Brisbane is a two-day workplace health and safety exhibition and seminar to be held at the Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre on April 22 and 23.
Featuring more than 100 exhibitors and an expected 2,500 visitors, the event will explore the latest in work health and safety measures, as well as discuss how to minimise the economic burden of work related injuries.
Mental health and wellbeing will be a key focus of the seminar series, which has the theme ‘Realising proactive safety methods to encourage workplace health and wellbeing’.
Confirmed speakers include Beyondblue senior project manager Nick Arvanitis, Advanced Safety Systems Australia (ASSA) general manager John Fell, AccessEAP CEO Sally Kirkright and Generative HSE director Marc McLaren.
Key exhibitors at the expo include WorkCover Queensland, Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, Millsom, Myosh, Bradley Australia, Atom Supply Group, Beyondblue and Aegis Safety.
The Safety Institute of Australia’s Brisbane Safety Conference will take place alongside the exhibition.
