Sandstorm washes like a flash

Like its namesake, the Sandstorm range of modular wash plants will arrive promptly and work quickly – thanks to distributor 888 CSE

A wide range of aggregate processing machines from McCloskey Washing Systems Equipment (MWS Equipment) is available through the national distributor, 888 Crushing and Screening Equipment (CSE).

Given the quick turnaround on delivery, complete sand washing plants can be delivered onsite within days and commissioning of the plant can soon begin after water and electrical supplies are connected.

Among the range of smart washing solutions is the Sandstorm 620 – an efficient modular wash plant that offers performance for up to three aggregates and one or two sand products through its large 20 foot (6m) by six foot (1.8m) triple deck screen with five conveyers.

Two models are available in a variety of configurations and can also be ordered with optional extras including 100ft (30.5m) conveyers, a vibrating grid, two deck screen box, overband magnet and a belt weight on the main and product belts.

888 CSE also says a polyurethane screen deck will be fitted to the Sandstorm 620 in accordance to required specifications.

“The Sandstorm has been developed with leading features for optimised production, easier maintenance access and reduced servicing intervals,” 888 CSE spokesperson Henry Neville says.

“The plant is fully electric powered for efficiency with the control panel designed and built to meet Australian standards.”

The Sandstorm is capable of handling up to 450 tonnes per hour of mixed sand or aggregate at its peak and between 150 and 200t/h of sand production as standard.

888CSE says additional upgrades can also be added to improve capacities up to 400t/h of wash sand.

Other models in the MWS Equipment range include the McCloskey compact sand plant (CSP) range, which enables superior separation efficiency from the final washed sand product to produce sands of the desired grade.

The CSP is available from 888 CSE in two sizes – the CSP120 and the CSP200 – and can be used for applications including sand and aggregate, industrial sands and waste recycling.

The CSP120 model measures 6.6m by 3.8m, while the CSP200 machine measures in slightly bigger at 7.2m by 4.2m and produces material at 120t/h and 200t/h, respectively.

888 CSE offers Australia-wide coverage on MWS Equipment-branded machines and boasts inventory on both the east and west coast, meaning delivery wait times for the machines are minimal.

Viewing of the machines, which are available for sale, hire and hire-buy options, can also be arranged through 888 CSE.
