Sany Heavy Machinery has launched the C10 series rotary drill rigs to the global market, selling 16 units worth US$15 million at the recent launch ceremony at Sany's Nankou Industrial Park in Beijing.
The company says the new rigs have enlarged pile diameter, extended pile depth, stronger engine power and faster main winch performance.
Other features are 5th-generation rotary drives with multi-gear control, tailor-made chassis and environmentally friendly Isuzu or Cummins engines with improved fuel consumption.
They also have spacious cabs with panoramic sunroofs and high visibility, high-strength Sany Kelly bars and auto centre lubrication systems for longer service lives.
The Sany C10 rotary drills are available in a wide range of operating capacities, including the small and medium-sized SR155C10, SR205C10, SR235C10 and 265C10 for civil construction, the SR285RC10, SR360RC10 and SR365RC10 for rock drilling, the large SR405RC10 drill rig, and the SR235W10 and SR285RW10 full-stroke rotary drilling rigs.
“We will never stop creating value for customers, carrying out technological innovation, providing more cost-effective piling machines, and giving the most comprehensive after-sales service to all of you,” Sany Heavy Machinery Beijing branch general manager Xiong Yiqun told dealers at the launch.
The C10 ceremony formed part of Sany’s first Global Dealer Summit.
RTC Company, one of Sany’s main overseas partners, showed a drilling bar which has been designed for foundation work in northern Russia. It allows rotary drill rigs in the Arctic Circle to start and operate efficiently at temperatures down to minus-50 Celsius and operate for 24 hours without any technical breakdowns.
