Trimble releases grade control option for single machine

Available in Australia, the new grade control configuration has been designed as an entry-level option

Trimble has released a new configuration of its Trimble Earthworks Grade Control Platform, which has been designed as an entry-level option for the company’s flagship machine control system.

Available in Australia, the new configuration provides the same features and functionality as Trimble Earthworks, but at an entry-level price point and designed specifically for use on one high-use excavator.

The Earthworks Grade Control Platform gives operators a 3D view of a model overlaid onto the ground view to give them a clear idea of where they need to dig. The system measures the position of the bucket and compares it to the design data for rough grading and mass excavation.

Trimble products are distributed in Australia through Sitech.
