A new safety guide for the Victorian construction industry has been released for 2014/2015.
According to the publisher Pro-Visual Publishing, the wall-mounted chart outlines ways to manage various hazards on construction sites in line with the latest industry practices.
Pro-Visual Publishing says the latest guide has a special focus on hazards and risks associated with working at heights.
The guide was published in collaboration with the National Safety Council of Australia and with the support of the Australian Constructors Association and the Australian Construction Industry Forum.
Other topics covered in this year’s guide include working in confined and dangerous areas; use of grinders and cut-off saws and employee wellbeing.
The guide is distributed free of charge to construction companies and contractors statewide.
